The Italian company M.W.M. was founded in 1965 in Milan, Italy by Dott. Carlo Witzel and his son Dott. Alberto Witzel. The first products launched were mechanical clutches, all of which were patented, and the soul of the company was born from this.
In 1975, Mr. Sergio Sartori joined M.W.M. His philosophy was to create unique and more efficient products. In the first few years, he introduced hydraulic clutches and electromagnetic single-disc clutches.
In 1977, in order to be more assured in quality, a dedicated controlled workshop was used to produce clutch components, so that M.W.M. fully controlled the entire manufacturing process, from design to production, to the assembly of the final product.
In 1978, M.W.M. introduced the disc electromagnetic clutch. A few years later, toothed electromagnetic clutches and pneumatic toothed clutches also came out, and achieved great success in the Italian market. Since then, M, W, M, products have gradually been enriched.
By 1988, with the expansion of factory buildings and warehouses, M.W.M.'s scale of the company continued to expand, and the site became larger and larger.
After that, the company introduced innovative caliper brakes one after another. All patents have a revolutionary and unique hook system. Introduced a four-pole electromagnetic clutch, half of the space is doubled, and it is a unique manufacturer in Italy. These achievements made the most innovative M.W.M. of that era.
In 2016, Ing, Walter Sartori joined M.W.M. as the general manager, together with Mr. Sergio Sartori, this is a very important step in the company's growth.
In 2020, Dott, Patriaia de Haag joined the company to develop the company and promote marketing strategies in Italy and abroad.
Today, the Italian company M.W.M. has become a leading company in the field of clutches and brakes in the European market, and continues to develop new products and applications in this field, and at the same time market M.W.M.'s products all over the world.
