MWM CLUTCHES

A clutch (or friction clutch) is a device which transmits motion between two kinematic systems rotating at different angular speeds.
We produce the following types of clutch:
– Multiple disc (multidisc), mainly for oil bath and dry applications at low-medium speed.
– Single-disc, only for dry applications.
The control can be hydraulic, pneumatic or electromagnetic.
They can operate in the following ways:
– Spring released: the control engages the transmission; the clutch engages when oil, air or voltage is supplied.
– Spring-applied: the control disengages the transmission; the clutch disengages when oil, air or voltage is supplied.
